Squirrels Gourmet Nut Bowl A delightful, crunchy snack mix featuring roasted nuts, seeds, and a touch of dried fruit – perfect for sharing or as a protein-packed treat.

This mix is one of my favorite go-to snacks when I need a quick energy boost during busy days.

Ingredients

  • Nuts: 60 g raw almonds, 60 g raw walnuts, 60 g raw hazelnuts
  • Seeds: 30 g pumpkin seeds, 30 g sunflower seeds
  • Dried Fruit: 40 g dried cranberries
  • Flavorings: 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp coconut oil melted, 1/2 tsp sea salt, 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Mix nuts and seeds:
In a large bowl, combine almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds.
Prepare flavoring:
In a small bowl, mix melted coconut oil, maple syrup, sea salt, and cinnamon (if using). Pour over the nut mixture and toss well to coat.
Spread mixture:
Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking tray.
Roast:
Roast in the oven for 8–10 minutes, stirring once halfway, until golden and fragrant. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
Cool:
Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
Add dried fruit:
Stir in dried cranberries. Serve in a bowl or store in an airtight container.
