Instructions

Step 1:
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Step 2:
Add warm milk, warm water, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for 57 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 40 minutes, or until doubled in size.

Use a sharp knife to cut the log lengthwise in half. With cut sides facing up, twist the two halves together.

Step 10:
