02 - 1 cup green grapes, halved
03 - 1 cup blueberries
04 - 1 cup pineapple, diced
05 - 1 banana, sliced (optional)
06 - 1 kiwi, peeled and diced (optional)

→ Decorations

07 - 6 small clear plastic cups
08 - 6 large marshmallows
09 - 12 mini marshmallows
10 - 12 small candy eyes
11 - 12 pink jellybeans or pink chocolate candies
12 - 12 white paper cupcake liners
13 - Black edible marker

# Method:

01 - Wash and prepare all fruits as directed. Combine diced strawberries, halved green grapes, blueberries, and diced pineapple in a large mixing bowl.
02 - Evenly distribute mixed fruit into 6 small clear plastic cups, filling each cup approximately three-quarters full.
03 - Position two large marshmallows on the front of each cup for cheeks. Place a mini marshmallow or pink candy between the cheeks as a nose. Attach candy eyes above the cheeks using honey or icing as adhesive. Use black edible marker to draw whiskers and a small mouth on the marshmallows.
04 - Fold each white paper cupcake liner in half and cut into ear shapes. Tape or glue two ears to the back inside rim of each cup so they protrude upward.
05 - Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 4 hours before serving.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Kids genuinely eat their fruit when it has a bunny face looking back at them—no negotiation needed.
  • You can prep these while chatting with your kids or sitting on the kitchen counter, making it feel more like playtime than cooking.
  • The whole thing comes together without heat or mess, leaving you free to focus on the fun decorating part.
02 -
  • Marshmallows absorb moisture from the fruit, so if you're making these more than a couple hours ahead, the faces will start sliding—assemble right before serving whenever possible.
  • The edible marker needs to be actual food-grade; regular markers won't adhere to marshmallows and taste like chemicals, which I learned the hard way watching a toddler take a cautious lick.
03 -
  • Freeze fruit slightly before assembly (about thirty minutes) so it stays crisp and marshmallows don't soften as quickly when pressed in.
  • Draw the bunny faces last, right before serving, so the edible marker lines stay bold and expressive instead of fading or smudging into the marshmallow texture.
