# What you'll need:
→ Dough
01 - 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
→ Filling
02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
→ Decoration
10 - 16 grape tomatoes or small cherry tomatoes for garnish
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
# Method:
01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
04 - Brush each triangle lightly with the butter-herb mixture, then evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan over each piece.
05 - Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip, creating a crescent shape.
06 - Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet to form a Christmas tree: start with one roll at the top, followed by rows of two, three, four, and five, forming a triangle. Position the remaining rolls beneath as the tree trunk.
07 - Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until the crescents are golden brown.
08 - Remove from oven and while warm, brush the crescents with any remaining butter-herb mixture.
09 - Garnish with grape or cherry tomatoes as ornaments and sprinkle with additional parsley if desired.
10 - Serve the crescent roll tree warm, perfect as a festive appetizer or snack.
